Frage von trendspurt:Hello.
I own the Panasonic AG-DVX 100 and has thus now able to collect one years experience.
Now I have also borrowed time in a rental, the SonyFX1.
Overall, it makes a very good impression on me. Only the light sensitivity is extremely variable.
With open aperture and 1 / 50 shutter I've seen in a low light situation with the Panasonic with no gain nor an acceptable bright picture. The FX1 is not a useful picture, however get out more. Even with 18db gain is the picture even darker than the Panasonic, but with no gain.
Is this normal? Or I have something set incorrectly?
Behaves the Z1 in terms of "light absorption" just as bad?
Thank you in advance and greetings from Cologne.
Simon

I'll get with the Z1E almost more than with the DVX100 ...
Above all, the Z1 was not rushing.
Gain 18 GB, shutter 1 / 50, Aperture 1.6. Nothing on the car. Supposed to be good.

When an image sensor has only half as many pixels as the FX1, that only 480 000 with AG-DVX 100, it must mention the camcorder already theoretically brighter than the FX1 with its be 960 000, to say nothing of HDV camcorders, which have 2 million pixels on a single sensor.
The FX1 is a pretty good compromise between Resolutionund intensity and when the shutter is set to 1 / 25, it almost takes on 25p and you win again to an aperture. Sufficient for virtually all situations, there is not too strong movements.

That the difference is so enormous that I had not thought of. For my purposes, the FX1 will probably range from not at all. Too bad, otherwise I like her better than me.
Behaves as the Z1 in this issue or is it more sensitive to light?
Antwort von domain:
As far as I know, there is no difference between this regard Z1 and FX1.
But what are these situations where you films? Do you make available-light images of human fish?
Good light! wishes you domain

We have a feature synonymous with the AG-DVX 100 in late 2004 made (available-light), a year later (2005), we were s.selben city and turned to some, this time with the VX2100.
The available-light capabilities of the VX2100 are enormous, as the DVX 100, unfortunately, can not compete to some extent.
The FX1 and Z1 under such conditions, unfortunately, I have not been able to test.

Simon Where seen? when recording through the viewfinder? On the display? Or the finished recording of tape?
The viewfinder is always too dark, synonymous when it is set to "Hell".
The display can even halfway bezgl brightness, color and contrast using factory, too dark.
The FX-1 has 18db, the Z1 has to 36dB.
GAIN is turned off at two, 0db is it too dark for 6-9db rustling no or very, very little. The Recording 18db roars very, very much less than 18db DV. When comparing only the number of GAIN value is too one-sided, the result is what matters.
If nothing moves, a 1 / 3 seconds Recording is almost completely dark fantastic. Use, such as Egyptian temples and tombs.
