Have the following problem:
When you import a video from DV camcorder in avi format, there is sound, the sound is choppy and jerky video. If I have the same video in mpg format restore it works flawlessly. (no shakes and no Tonkratzen)
Tried the video with Windows Movie Maker yourself, here is the same error. Avi format in the video jerky and there is sound, the video is compressed in wmv format does it read correctly.
Already have a new DV camera drivers download, use, unfortunately, nothing.
Has anyone a hint? ;-)

If a lower error-free data can be stored, while a higher leads to dropped frames, it is a memory-(Velocity) problem probably.
Is there enough space on the hard drive available? If the space is contiguous or fragmented?

My hard drive from the notebook is too slow to have the video on an external hard drive (with higher speed) and stored as it works flawlessly.
