If the ME66 with K6 against it, and someone with experience to Comparison ME80 + K3U (is there but wesendlich quieter as the MIC 416)

the decision was made very clear to me for the Sennheiser MKH416 48PU.
The standard Micro-par Reportagebei for Film and TV.
I have the 416er himself beside the ME66 few years in the O-Sound area. No matter if you have money, only the 416er.
And now I write not because I currently have one for sale, with the wind basket and fur, but because it definitely is. If I said yes as synonymous not insignificant price difference.
But as a part of you once you buy!

Since I agree fully and completely on. Unfortunately, I had years ago times a shotgun at exactly the time to buy, just as the MKH 416 was not produced. Therefore, it is a 60th MKH Later there was the MKH 416, but because I wanted to fundamental considerations of a stereo Microphone Windscreens basket in the building, so it became an MKH 418 S, ie practically a MKH 416 for eight with additional MS stereo. This function I use, but very rarely. The MKH 60 is now a camera mounted microphone.
I like the (cheaper) MKH 416 sound better than the (more expensive) 60th MKH Frequency response and polar pattern seem better to the usual reportage situations to fit.
Recently I wrote here but that my ME 80 after less than ten years was broken. Meanwhile I had to find that my ME 66/K6 also has a defect, and although there are contact problems between microphone module and feed module. For me, these modules Electret done. Microphones for outdoor use to start with me now exclusively with "MKH".

So far, I fluctuated between Rode NTG-2 and Sennheiser ME66 with K6.

Eine XH-A1 über ebay zu kaufen würde ich mir verbieten, es sei denn, Rüssel oder einige andere Größen hier aus dem Forum würden dort ihre verkaufen wollen ;-) - bei einem Micro schätzte ich bisher das ebay-Risiko nicht als so groß ein.
Jedoch:
