Frage von kupfi_stanton:Hello I build recently with my Mac to a DVD. Settings were quite normal, "Best Quality, 4:3, Pal ...".
The DVD disc was a Verbatim DVD with an 8x burn speed.
Now to my phenomenon:
When I play the created DVD in my Mac or another PC, this DVD works properly.
I now grant this DVD in a Phillips DVD player, the transitions are sometimes lazy, jerk, and it just does not look good. Also I get in the top third of screen flicker always a kind of jerky and in backlit shots. I can not imagine my absolute s.was all this may be, and I think that maybe someone here knows what the reason might lie.
Thank you for your help.

Salut,
Let us proceed to the expulsion proceedings.
When I play the created DVD in my Mac or another PC, this DVD works properly. Clearly it is not an
"interesting problem with DVD authoring and is synonymous with any cut or DVD applications do nothing.
The DVD disc was a Verbatim DVD with an 8x burn speed. I'm assuming you have a new Super Drive 8 x. Then probably schonmal the compatibility of burners and blank warrants (my experience is: 8x blanks are not using the 4x burner, conversely, it would be) no problem. The Verbatim brand is so commonly found in Apple's built-in burners generally (Pioneer) is used, that it can not be due.
Is it s.dem
"+"? Previously, it was me, minus the DVD-R is better for most stand-alone player. I sometimes synonymous burn plus, and find no difference.
Nevertheless, here is the point. Your DVD player is
see at old and is probably not for DVD-/ + R (optimized synonymous when it recruited some of advertising /. Was) is particularly common in the case of brand-name appliances.
b) the laser optics are dirty. DVD cleaning and testing.
c) after two years with constant use, the laser diode is diminishing. The signal is too weak, and an error correction (which is always necessary when burned) can not be properly carried out. Even 2 years old high-end player with fantastic signal processing can then read Burned often worse than 35 ¬ expensive
new Billigplayer.
Whether it is worth buying in the future minus the R? Yes, for older players allegedly digestible.
I would be the DVD on another, preferably new, free player.
I bet, here's the rub.
