Hello,
I have a notebook with a friend the following problem: Windows XP Home SP3 was installed, everything is new, the notebook itself (: D). To test was Magix Video Pro X 1.5 (trial version) installed. The problem is that apparently all MPEG codecs are missing. Because you can not play MPEG's not synonymous and HDV recordings (for the test of my HV30) with Pro X video cards. Now my beginner's question: Which codec or program I need, so I at least normal MPEG's can play HDV recordings and can play on? I had never before with such raw XP's to be done, where everything is missing: (

Now it's just a pure Magix (; Video Pro X) problem (; thread can be moved ^ ^), because there appears after the transfer or when playing first a blank error window and then a message that the file can not be read. Video Pro X can therefore still not play. Windows, I have rebooted. Any ideas how I fix it yet?

Short update yet: According to the Magix support it was because in the test versions no longer MPEG2 codec is included. The solution is quite simple: Just install a previous version or buy the full version, then the codec is available. With a previous version has it worked :-)
