I want 2 with Festplattencamcordern from videos recorded a 2-camera video cut.
I do not need no funky effects and transitions Picture but just perfectly normal cuts.
Is there a program that I provide this functionality available without me 1000 Extra features to which I invite you all do not?

I have read that 8.0 is Vega MPEG2 import may, however, I was a little too complicated when I look at this program have seen a friend!

If there are only about two-camera editing goes, is an NLE with multi-camera editing capabilities not really necessary.
You opt for the sound of a camera and fixes the two synchronized video tracks into two tracks over each other. From the track with the higher priority then you cut pieces as needed and have come out the other camera into the Picture. Goes with any NLE

For fast efficient multicam editing, I can thee Premiere Pro s.2.0 recommend. You're at the cutting much faster and more accurate, if you see both cameras simultaneously, especially if it was not a major addition and Camera, but the two cameras are basically equal.
Premiere will certainly include a lot of functionality that you only do not need. Over time you will be some function but appreciate that you've not used s.Anfang.

Premiere Pro 2.0 or later works but unfortunately not in a trial-version with mpeg2. that means you have to buy you the full version, damn expensive if you do not cut as often.

However, I have read that the program is not with all the processors to work, because someone knows more?

I have an Athlon XP 3000 +, is that enough? 2.0 PP prinzipell goes equally well with Intel or AMD. Condition is Win XP SP2 and 512 MB of RAM. Under Vista it is not running properly.
On my AMD Dual Core 4400 + with 1 GB Ram and it runs in Multicambetrieb reasonable. An XP 3000 + is designed for cutting mpeg2 Multicam somewhat slim.

ok my Adobe Premiere 2.0 software came with the post office today!
Unfortunately it does with the processor is not mentioned. During installation, the error message that the processor does not support SSE.
Fortunately I have a laptop ncoh (Athlon 64 3700mhz) on which the software runs.
What good sites / tutorials to my entry to the 2-cam editing with Premiere something easier?
Although it is a thick manual but perhaps there are better ways around the software to learn!
