Frage von Soc:Hello
I have a small question on MPEG2 streams.
I would love to start by CCD-camera video data, then convert them to MPEG2 and have them represented somehow on the PC.
is there already about this software?
thank you.

Antwort von Udo Schröer:
Yes something like this goes s.besten of a DV camera via Firewire cable as DV and AVI to play on the PC. Convert to mpg2 eg with TMPG encoder.
Antwort von Soc:
oh well.
This is not exactly what I want. sorry, I forgot to write above.
ok, the whole is to be Exempt by external ccd camera. procedures and there due to the data rate by mpeg-2 compressed.
then the whole comes to the pc via bluetooth.
actually I need only one tool, which to me indicates the stream.
Antwort von Nightfly!:
Cameras in the MPEG2 format, the HDV cameras are saving.
Bring the video via Bluetooth to the calculator, there is not.
My SonyPC120 has Bluetooth but does not transmit the video or only those from the Memory Stick in any way in streaming.
In my opinion this is simply a variant:
Firewire (card and cable) to dub on the PC with a capture program, as of Udo indicated.
OR You have a kind of WEB CAM (Bluetooth) and find a program in which the capture tool can record the images of the "Web Cam". Then you simply capture in MPEG2 on the Calculator
Read the test reports and download demos to try out /.

You're sure?
I have read for the data rate of Bluetooth asymmetrically with 721 kbit / s downstream "(Heise 2002). If that no longer is, you can with MPEG2 standard picture sizes password, then just go postage stamp videos.
For Comparison: VideoCD - MPEG1, 356x288, stereo sound, data rate around 1400 kbps. For image size of PAL Full Screen 720x576 or 768x576 MPEG2 takes only s.2500 kbps and higher sensible images ...
Technically, I can imagine your project not synonymous. You want to put the camera into the garden, then encode with a box MPEG2, which put it into a Bluetooth transmitter and send it to you in the apartment in your PC that has a Bluetooth receiver? The ominous box should already be something like a laptop ...
Another question: Why are you not finished with built-in webcam and wireless Web? Can you buy. You can watch the live video with your internet browser on a PC with wireless internet access.
Good luck

Antwort von Soc:
hello together
All will be a project at school.
So are there resources available and the learning curve should not be neglected. should also include the synonymous complexity a bit.
normally, one could indeed take a eifach WebCam with integrated WLAN and transfer it that way.
But this is not our goal:)
to go a bit into detail about:
The camera is mounted on a toy car, which is to be controlled via bluetooth.
after the camera is PAL decoder is switched on, which the video signal to the MPEG2 decoder prepared.
from this it is then sent out via the MCU and Bluetooth module.
on data rate: the bluetooth is on a real problem. but it would suffice if we could see in about 15 stills per second.
as I've interpreted your answer, and I can do it, the mpeg-2 data put on the pc, then I must capture this simple. And then show.
I suppose you can give me there a tip, how to do that.
Thank you for your hard work!

Look for people with the robot. Should know this kind of projects at your fingertips.
But do you better acquainted with the technology before you questions were used. In some forums the sound is rough, soon, if lack s.Basiswissen a minimum.
A file with a fixed start / end is not suitable for continuous live images. What you need is consecutive packets. Ie, a Fileübertragung will not work. You have to make a so-called streaming.
The easiest way would be to use an existing solution that makes a stream of packets. That would be such as Internet packets over WLAN been. The display problem would then be synonymous slain.
Bluetooth offers essentially synonymous audio / video streaming capabilities to (profiles). I can not help you but, as you need to locate the friends program. I guess that's actually much of the existing Bluetooth hardware and their driver programs dependent. Either there is already a transmitter / player for audio / video streams or there is an SDK for Selberprogrammieren of a player or there is nothing.
Another direction perhaps: There are legitimate wireless cameras that operate in the GHz range. Which are often used to "baby monitor". You can only wireless camera in the toy car ride and hang the receiver side s.eine video capture card s.PC.
Good luck

Here something of Sony!
Maybe you can help the next (if not synonymous Bluetooth)

Antwort von Soc:
good day together.
already in advance, thank you for your reply.
noon today, the project work has now been submitted and sanctioned.
that is, now is the time it seriously:)
but now the whole was divided into 2 parts.
1. control of a car from a PC via the wireless interface (most will remain open.) ultimately will be used but ZigBee.
2. camera, mpeg2 decoding and video-streaming to PC via ZigBee.
ZigBee because of contracting the school institute was proposed, I need only look as times, pointed looks. But as far as I know, can be streamed here.
But as I said, I've got no infos about it.

Antwort von Stefan:
It is even worse ;-)
As someone has misunderstood when reading articles of ZigBee over the term "monitoring".
The raw, over-the-air data rate is 250 kbit / s per channel in the 2.4 GHz band, 40 kbit / s per channel in the band 915 MHz, and 20 kbit / s in the 868 MHz band. Transmission range is between 10 and 75 meters (33 ~ 246 feet).
Condolence

Antwort von Soc:
250kBit / s should in principle sufficient.
streams analog respectively. isdn modems are 2-5 times slower ...
Typical bandwidths of the output data are:
Audio: several megabits / s (CD: about 1.4 Mbit / s)
Video: dozens of Mbit / s
Typical bandwidths are available to:
analog modem: up to 56 kbit / s
ISDN: 64 or 128 kbit / s
DSL and cable modems: a few Mbit / s
LAN: 100 Mbit / s
Through the reception taking place simultaneously with the playback, it is necessary that the transmission bandwidth available is greater than the bandwidth used for streaming is. To send the audio - and video data must therefore be compressed before transmission. In most cases this is lossy because the only way a meaningful amount of data per unit time can be achieved.
Antwort von Stefan:
If that is your yardstick, OK. There are people who watch movies on display on, there's a cell phone screen more ...
MPEG2 is already fixed, or you can not swerve to appropriate compression techniques?
Good luck

Antwort von Soc:
Hi
until now I have a tendency to mpeg2, because there is as yet solderable chips. Of mpeg4 because I've found nothing.
but it has now emerged that one leiterplattenherstellen prototypes for a grad-synonymous to populate. So now I am limited net more.
what is the best compression method?
Soc
Antwort von Stefan:
The best I do not know.
H.261/H.263 from the area or videoconferencing and H.264 / MPEG4, I would still consider. There are hardware encoder chips where you can select the method of example, the VW2005 Vweb Corp..
Good luck

Antwort von Soc:
The best I do not know. oh well. the best is probably synonymous net necessarily what I need. especially important is that it is standart.
to H.264 / MPEG4:
here are some infos about the bands: with the Zigbee 250kBit / s - area partially achievable:

So, here once a current state:
The hardware is now available.
Camera -> MPEG2 converter -> Wireless Module ....... -> Shipping Address -> Ethernet interface -> PC
In words:
A camera is filming. The image is converted to electricity using MPEG-2 controller and transmitted via radio. The same hand goods receives the data packets and forwards them via Ethernet s.den next PC.
There ought to then the video data are output.
To simplify the radio can be bridged synonymous, and are led by Ethernet s.den the whole PC right out of the MPEG-2 converter.
Question: How to display such information?
