Hi!
I have a camera in record s.Dienstag. Mts with a bit rate of about 24 Mbps. Resolutionist 1920x1080.
I've already loaded for testing purposes. Mts files, and edit in Sony Vegas 9.0 Pro. The result was modest, it derbs jerky. [2x2Ghz and 2GB Ram and a Geforce 8600GT is due) I got the book now in the Forum here reformat tip found in mpeg2, so it should then have Sony Vegas simple.
Now my question is, how am I going to do exactly. I used to convert up to now always "super".
What container should I choose? Avi? Wmv? Mpg?
Video codec would be yes or mpeg2?
and audio codec? Mp3 vlt?
What bit rate should I choose? You can choose to 9792kbps of 64 and then 29 040 again, but this is somehow not selectable.
Because the bit rate 9792kbps ... but only 9.7 mbit are you? why can not set it in super 24? or brings anything?
I just want to get only the Resolutionund the overall quality as good as possible.
What must I set then?
Or should I use a different converter?

In proxy stream are his script, which allows a batch conversion to an intermediate or proxy.
When you walk the Intermediate mts file into a high quality different format, which can be easily processed by the Calculator (MPEG2, MXF, etc.). This is not only used for video editing, but synonymous for the final Rausrendern.
When the proxy mts file is converted into another format that ensures an optimal preview (I use an MPEG2 Bluray template in Vegas with a very low bit rate).
