Frage von WA3V:Hello Forum Members,
I work with Final Cut Pro 2 and was the first time a DVD with clips in the MTS format for further editing. I am well aware that Final Cut Pro 2, AVCHD supposedly understands "" and can convert Intermediate Codec or ProRes 422. The problem is that the import of individual MTS files to Final Cut Pro does not work. When attempting to import MTS file of the DVD is always the message: "File Error: 1 File (; s) hereby denied access to 0, 1 unknown." The problem is with video clip itself or must be placed in Final Cut Pro, nor the ultimate hook? The ProRes 422 settings in the logging area, I have already made.
I would like to avoid it if possible, use a conversion utility like Voltaic or iSkysoft to the clips. Capture mov converted to. Does anybody advice?
Thanks in advance for your feed back.
Greetings
Emilia

Prerequisite: at least FCP6.0.5
Important for the acquisition is that (the entire file structure, directory) of the card has been accepted and not only. Mts.
Then you can with FILE> LOG TRANSFERS and the "base directory" page and Final Cut Pro imports everything, as desired.
If you have under FILE-> LOG not only TRANSFERS CAPTURE, you have to (but old), incorrect version.
But you only have the MTS, it remains only that. Mov, but I would take to actually not VoltaicHD because so ludicrously long, but Toast 9th
Sliding the file to Convert tab and ready. Make sure that the files are then interlaced.

Hi Wolfgang,
Thank you for your reply. It thus appears s.Datenträger (; lie with me now the DVD) and the directory structure. I have a folder on the DVD in the files with the suffix are MTS, MTS.AVG and MPEG included. The other folders contain only MTS files. I can import but not of both. Latest Message: "Purchasing PR" contains unsupported media or an invalid directory structure. Please choose a folder whose directory structure corresponds to supported media.
The problem would be solved if I had (the original disk, SD card) for reading?
Greeting
Emilia

Still later: I have FCS 2 with Final Cut Pro 6.0.6. Because it would not be so.

Of this I am going at once, because if we invite AVCHD products in FC, we always use the original map. Final Cut Pro seems to support the others back file access (; addition to the private upper level folder).
Incidentally, the synonymous work if the full map content was transferred to an HD drive, and then of HD is read.
