On the PC, there are already DVRack with a corresponding software, which not only a thumbnail of your camcorder available, but yet a package more or less important control devices such as vectorscopes or simulated waveform monitor. The Scope Box now allows similar functionality on the Mac. Prices and availability are not fixed yet, but it varies expensive versions for DV, SD and HD.
