I import my movies and they are synonymous shown below.
But the top left of screen stays black when I click on Play.

So plugin you can forget gibts in Magix (yet). If the movie is playing in Media Player, it means only that he has installed the necessary DirectShow filters and properly used and thus not quite get along Magix obvious. Therefore my Obrig proposal to export to DV-AVI and use this export file for further editing, if you have a Endausgabeziel MPEG2/DVD, you lose by this transformation hardly quality.
