Frage von Steve08:Hello community,
I use the program Magix Video Deluxe and wanted a of me with the recorded movie as a wmv output.
As a setting, I have 640x480 and nothing else special set. The film is about 10 minutes.
Now Magix renders it almost 2 hours already and is still not finished ...
Did I something wrong or is it s.Betriebssystem or or ....
I have compatriots, they are synonymous all 4 cores of the application is assigned, and the Priörität in Task Manager, I have to set real-time ...
Oddly enough, the system utilization is synonymous with only about 28%
My System:
Quad Core 2.93 Ghz
8GB RAM
Radeon 4870 X2
Vista Business 64bit Sp1
Thank you

Hi Steve08,
synonymous current Magix software supports the WMV export only one core. To that extent, your processor load ok. Multi-core support is only available in the following formats:
AVCHD = 4 Core
Mpeg2 = 2 Core
Divx = 4 Core
Xvid = 4 Core
Everything else = 1 Core
Why it takes so long now can only ansich s.den effects are used. Did you perhaps with re-sharpening or color rumgespielt? They are very computationally intensive.
Greetings from the Rhine

Antwort von Steve08:
well of course that is silly, there is a software to encode the wmv uses all 4 cores?
PS I have not really incorporated a lot of effects, except for a logo that I permanatent in the corner and have a guy ...
Well in any case, thank you first, I thought because what does not fit
Antwort von joerg-emil:
.... I think the time is quite high, ne simple graphics can not create. What an original format hast thou? DV-AVI from the camera? Any MPEG? What has it origins resolution ?.... Do you have the credits to the high resolution title chosen?
Otherwise I would just try to film without the logo and credits to encode only to the error may be better by them.
I need a DV-AVI unprocessed of one minute in a 640x480 WMV with the highest quality setting is rendered, it took 2 minutes ... not only as far as I am now wondering, I had a system load of about 50% ... now ask me please why not, I asked exactly how you feel about the limited support for multi-core and was annoyed at other formats, only the 25 %....
Antwort von Steve08:
yes as you say I have infaches dv-avi is about 2.3 gb, recorded with magix ...
I will try without the logo and credits dan ...
I am again ...
Antwort von Steve08:
So without the logo and credits lasted just like you said about 2 minutes and I have 80% system utilization
Antwort von Steve08:
Also I find the quality of the wmv fairly "Kriesel" in comparison to the original, what can you do or how to choose the settings as in Magix (10 min film, however, should not have more than 60MB ...)
Antwort von joerg-emil:
60MB for 10 min is super tight, because a drastic loss of quality remain inadequate. Because I would just set the resolution down.
What did you do with the film than before?
I think with MPEG 4 (eg 320x240 Flash Player H.264, about 5 MB per minute) you will be far better results than with WMV, especially when it comes to something on the web ...
Antwort von Steve08:
Unfortunately, I am bound s.wmv, ok then let's say 100mb for 10min
Antwort von joerg-emil:
... then I would justify your Magix movie as a DV-AVI File Export and then those with their own Windows Movie Maker in WMV format. Here you can request that your file size directly. The then the best available in your size.
Antwort von Steve08:
Thanks joerg,
so we went and had the video now synonymous with distance the best quality / file size ratio ..
Antwort von motiongroup:
It is untrue, both WMV and MP4 format h264 bring so they are correct, the same results with the same size.
the question arises why a different format in the Resolutiongewählt than Aufnameformat and not just another codec to use?
Assuming that even in the VDL WMV9Advanced is planted, I see no need for a proprietary format.
For BR even be Mpeg2HD, h264AVC and VC1 (WMV9Advanced) used ...
