Frage von Midsland:Hello everyone,
I have a new notebook with Vista Home Edition purchased. Initially, the MediaPlayer11 do not play videos or just the sound, no picture.
I then installed various codec packs and am now so far that any format will be played until ratDVD
RatDVD I play now with moopeg or fusion player. They are not as comfortable as the MediaPlayer11
In between I had a status in which I was informed that the file was not available xvidcore.dll. That is not true, it is two times on my calculator, but probably s.der wrong place.
I wonder whether "the unltimative Codec.Pack" exists, that the media player for all video formats adequately serviced.
Maybe I could synonymous as the ffdshow codec pack so that the media player synonymous the COUNCIL's plays. I can not. Can someone help me this?
Thank you for your answer (s)

I then installed several codec packs ... ... and your computer still works? - Glück gehabt! Normally you only install codecs that are needed really synonymous (video files with GSpot previously checked).
Codec packs to install is about as you would a burning tealight-fighting with a combat aircraft. The possible water damage is not proportionate to the benefit. ;-)
... and am now so far that any format will be played until ratDVD Maybe this info helps you next:
