In my current Asus Notebook with GeForce GTX 460M I could enable the GPU via Configanpassung and and it works without problems with the Mercury engine.
Currently there are several new Sandy Bridge notebooks come along that often with the 540M GPU.
Has anyone tested whether the 540M can be activated as well?
Of course, this is much weaker than the 460-but he should definitely be interesting for some people.

So, I habs briefly with an Acer 5750G and tested Cs5 premiere.
The Geforce 540M can be wonderfully unlock: o)
Another thing for Notebook:
I'm erstaunnt how speedy this cheap notebook with the i5 Sandy Bridge in 2410 and 8GB memory works. Possibly. 5400 he replaced the standard drive with a Seagate Momentus XT and then running gone a little better.
The screen is not the best and ne resolution 1300, he also not true for my HD material.
But if there's a nice screen fits planted beside synonymous this Unfortunately I now have none left HD cable here. But I'll try next week yet.
