Frage von MeikelTi:Meanwhile, I have to purchase a Canon XH A1 decided (yes there is this beautiful cash back-action), particularly synonymous because they have better audio equipment than SonyFX7 features.
I wish my Canon s.der external Microphone Beyerdynamic MCE 72 connect. Unlike Andi1972 under http://forum.slashcam.de/canon-xh-a1-externes-mikro-vt60787.html I einn cable with a 5-pin XLR connector for the Micro and a stereo jack end of the connector s.die Cam. At my old DV Cam (SonyDCR-TRV950), I hereby no problems, there were no noise or the like on. The Micro functioned flawlessly.
Must / should I have a 5-on-2x3-pin XLR adapter up, to my Beyerdynamic with the XLR connections to connect my Canon. What advantage do I have it, apart from the fact that I change the audio left and right channels separately may regulate what I had previously never misses. When using my old cable, I can but synonymous influence on the audio volume Miene Micros take. Do I ever og adapter for about 60 ¬?

Antwort von beiti:
If you do that only on the Micro camcorder use (Kabelänge mostly under 50 cm), the symmetric connection only a limited (except the 3 dB higher level, which in the border area allows less noise). If you, however far from synonymous want to use your camcorder is XLR balanced and transfer duty.
And 60 euro should be a adapter is by far not cost, even if you hand him of solder can.

So no adapter, with the exception of the (1) 50 meters of cable length ... but I only buy when I have money again ... .
