You have to be fair and say the demo video shown here is a GigaPanning - ie a series of pictures of what was an auto adapter gebacht.
And this is the program arranges the pictures as a relatively fast on / off thumbnails should be aware synonymous.
The rendering of such a picture but it still takes hours should not be ignored! The amount of memory for talking not!
I made level 2 weeks ago an HDR panorama where, for example a 180 degree pan around 14GB and the temp file has been without GigaPanning!
Ergo, the video shown is rather NEN nice "fake" video and does not really real time done what ne work as a PC!

From video recordings to create a panoramic image is of course possible
This one has to say is, we extract a 4 sec pan over 180 degrees every 12 Image stitching and then leave.
Then you get a panoramic synonymous - the software is similar magnitudes and calculated on stuttering and thus an image.
Conclusion what is being presented is quite nice but not really new ;-)

Note - I have to say now even briefly played with the Progi and must - for freeware quite ok - but unfortunately still needs significant improvement prescription.
