Hello,
I wanted a couple of mini DV tapes with Premiere on the hard drive out and have noticed that when the tape the first 5-10 minutes the sound is somehow broken. For example, if someone speaks, it always comes as a strange cracking (sounds like a woodpecker). I can do, unfortunately, sounds hard to describe.
When I look at the camera directly on the chart, it is exactly the same with the sound. What can you do? I have 4 cassettes and it's all the same ... The cartridges are of 2006, that is synonymous not yet old.

Spontaneous fall to me because a few things, though it has a little "come into the blue" is. I understand you so that the "cracking" occurs only when O-Sound/Kommentar-Sound but not in the atmosphere can be heard. Would it be possible that this "crack" only occurs when the sound level to the peak short device (ie the o-db-border hinausschießt). Then I could imagine if the camera via an audio limiter is that exactly this is simply the voltage spikes cuts whenever the sound gets into the peak. And exactly this caps the spikes could be a 'crack' cause.
If with an external microphone to work, is the cable ok? Are the contacts s.Male / socket cleanly soldered or there may be a "cold" solder joint? Nervous people tend to like to go to s.Kabel "zwirbeln". That could certainly cause noise.
Perhaps you could describe us synonymous times, with what equipment worked and what exactly was done, because it is actually a little good luck to come.

Well, hm? Overdriven sound / Limiter cracking may well be, when I listen to the clip. The best times to make a simple test: with the camcorder recordings in a quiet environment (birds singing in the woods * g *). Is the "cracking" will NOT be heard, sometimes try to very loud roar Micro Camera or very loud music, the camera in front of the box hold. In the ideal case, then the sound and control over the "Limiter cracking" would be heard again.
They would then have a dependency on the event and knew what it is.
