But it works only if the DVDs in a very specific format.
Sorry if I can not be concrete, but of the recording to any distribution formats, I believe nothing. This is something one can only with great limitations editing, if at all.

Forget the PC and put you a Harddisks-/DVD-Recorder too. This makes it possible to view the content of the small DVDs on the internal hard drive to copy, unerwünchte parts herauszuschneiden and the result on a great DVD to burn.

You lay you an analog to digital converter, you s.den the DVD camcorder with an analog AV cable connects. The A / D converter generates the same data as a DV camcorder and understands every video editing program. Thus, you can then remove the unwanted parts and the result as a new DVD output.

Games really with the idea of the new device Sonyzu buy the 3 mini-DVD on a big can copy. If yes then probably synonymous is the only device on the market.

Yes Option 1 - that could happen, although Sonyso far as I know the original file retains the shortening. I've never extremely long / intensely busy with DVD camcorders, MiniDV trust. Play!
DVD camcorders are restricted to AC 3 / Dolby Digital Sound, which is synonymous to why some programs can cause problems.
With some converters can be really pure MPEGs with the usual sound of the convert VOB / VRO files, the only tip I was given of a continuously converts the format to access a variety of SWS, or synonymous to the pure MPG File directly with Nero to burn.
