Frage von illdottore:Hello everybody,
I work for the first time with a MiniDV and hab promptly difficulties:
I got the source material on a MiniDV tape and wanted to this with a borrowed (Panasonic AG-EZ35) on play and watch. When you insert the tape shows the device, however (unreadable tape - other format). It's a Sony tape ME DVM-60 MiniDV and clearly labeled. Now steh 'ich quite taken aback because ;-)
With what the material was rotated, I do not know.
Maybe you can help.
Thanks in advance

There is either in the Long Play MiniDV format on it (this is usually with other camcorders are not compatible) or - and this is due to the display even more likely - it is HDV it! This is synonymous to MiniDV tapes recorded, but it is a completely different format (HD format)! Can only with its HDV Cam play ..
Antwort von Markus73:
Guess: Either the recording is HDV or it was a long play mode, with which your camera can not handle.

Markus
PS Ok, there was someone faster than me :-)
