Infoseite // MiniDV of 44 to 48 khz hochsamplen?

Frage von chris80:

Hello,

I have some analog tapes to miniDV via digitized. Only now I noticed that I am 44 as an audio format instead of 48 kHz was used (set to 12 bits instead of 16 bits).

Have I now any disadvantages if I miniDV material further example, a DVD and create it? DVD expected but AFAIK 48 kHz? If I then hochsamplen me and would thereby lose audio quality?

Thank you,
CHRIS

Antwort von tommyb:

Most likely you have not 32kHz and 44kHz.

A qualitative disadvantage you will not hear if you get it later on 48KHz walk, provided the sound is of lower quality (ie, Camera-Micro or similar).

Fact, G-Spot shows me at 32 kHz. How come I only to 44 khz?

It is Privatfilmereien (holiday videos, football club, family events, etc.), filmed with a VHS-C camera, it was built using Micro. So really no HQ audio pleasure:)

What exactly is happening now but when Hochsamplen? Is the sound really bad, if it is synonymous with this material does not hear? As a layman, I think: It is not "lost", but it is something "artificial" add ...

The alternative would be: Again via miniDV digitizer. But the analog tapes are in the 3 years since the first digitization certainly not better ...

Thank you,

There is nothing lost s.sich the 32KHz to 48KHz are merely interpolated. Also changes the bit depth (of 12 to 16).

To make a difference to notice, you have to pretty high quality sound on the soundtrack is a need - then you would synonymous difference between 48KHz and 32KHz can hear.

Since it is not your source, but an analog that could be a re-scan with benefits bring. Only this would not only tangible benefits of quality, the existing audio quality due.

Keep your stuff so when.
