Hello,
I have a 3 GHz PC with 512 MB and use Media Studio.
Now the question: Does more RAM (eg 2 GB) more s.schneiden joy, because my PC but every now and then just hangs during the editing timeline.
If, in my case, more RAM, or to recommend something else plays a role?

Yes, definitely!
RAM is the easiest way, a faster computer to do, especially if 1GB of less than expected, and at 1-2 GB is increased.

yes, 512mb slows the whole sys from.
if you want to upgrade: to 2gb - 2x 1gb to 1 gb - 2x 512mb
always the same ram from the same manufacturer (same type and same size).
