I hope that the significant improvement in sensitivity is used to provide noise-free images in very low light conditions and the sensors are not made smaller. There are people who enjoy working with the Aperture to regulate the depth of field. Which of course the small sensors in camcorders with today almost exclusively works with macro shots.

nope, with double-contrast range afaik you win just one Aperture this;)
