Hab ne Panasonic NV-GS180. Is recognized of Windows XP SP2 (USB 2.0). The included software Motion DV still maintains that no camera is connected s.den PC.
What can remedy the situation? Should I make a setting in the software?

if they (the included software which in most cases, not much) is not fit to recognize the camcorder will then just take another one. ;-)
The first thing I would try to capture tools, such WinDV, CaptureFlux, ScenalyzerLive, ...
