Frage von datenschutz1@hotmail.com:Hello!
Have a MPEG 2 movie with a length of 1h 35min ... and 2 players, which I show different overall lengths:
VLC: 1h 02 min
GOM Player: 1h 35min
Does anyone know why the GOM player and VLC reads the correct time always displays the wrong time? The video with sound is synonymous ansich of VLC play correctly and it takes the full synonymous 1h and 35min, but the time displayed is just not true ...
Is there a way to repair this time code somehow just that the time is right again synonymous in VLC?
Antwort von tommyb:
It is no time code you see in the rather special one meter.
Most is related a false "duration indicator" in MPEG2 with open GOP in video stream - that is, new code with a closed GOP.
Antwort von datenschutz1@hotmail.com:
Hey! Thank you for the answer
I have made with VOB2MPG a Mpeg file from the dvd, and the GOP timecode is created thereby synonymous newly ... (In the program, there was a point "FIX TIMECODES GOP" ...
I have the file already played in several players, including VLC and GOM Player ... VLC only in the time display is displayed incorrectly in the GOM Player contrast perfectly ...
What's going on?
Antwort von tommyb:
"Open GOP" can join only by a recoding. VLC miscounted "" is simply s.ihnen.
Another way might be the way, does not correctly registered synonymous variable video bit rate - that is synonymous not just with one click repairable.
