Hi,
I'm new here and absolute beginners and have a question to which you give me any advice you can give?
I am in search of the necessary accessories to s.einer SonyCam HDR SR7E several microphones can connect to. This is a picture / and more (up to 8) vocal recordings (eg, talk show). Probably because I need something like NEN video mixer (and of course, microphones) ...
White people, as the name for such a mixer (Vidoemixer, micro mixers ...) and what is technically, if I have otherwise noted, so that it works and I use the material later on the PC to be able to cut synonymous? Oh yes, affordable (3-digit area) should be synonymous acquisition course :-).

If the audio recordings must be available separately requires a recording device to record several tracks individually can. If it is mixed live in and so a track can be recorded, you need a mixer with the output for example on the Cam, or another recording device.

This may be "each" mixer. There is, in my view, no specific designations. Pay attention to the connections (XLR, Jack) and outputs so that all fits Mics can be connected and a suitable output for the Cam has. may still need to mic preamp because of the level are respected.

How does the micro input from your camcorder? Mini-jack, or Sony's specialty? Can you level with the camcorder manual contain? Otherwise, take better a separate recording device.

If one only wants to regulate s.der Cam, you have just the problem when one in an interview almost "crying" and the other "whispers". In a mixer, you can because at least something eingreiffen.

Of course you have to regulate s.Mixer. When the camera but no manual level, it is difficult to fit it onto the mixer set sum. If someone says no, turn the camcorder on and you hear loud noises room / Noise.

To say it again clearly: You need a Sound-/Audiomischpult, no video mixer.

It is important that the audio input of your camcorder to line level can be adjusted.

Maybe it helps the budget, if you buy a used mixer. I have currently three devices used in the offer: 1 Soundcraft Spirit, 2 SONY output from mixer truck, 3 small Behringer console. When real interest, I search out the model names and take photos.

Mostly not, but it is not so tragic. If you have the mixer up to -30 dB aussteuerst comes about micro-level out.
