I stand before the difficult decision when purchasing new cam. I would like to see a device from the prosumer area growth. but now I'm out-and hergerissen whether I prefer a U.S. unit to buy with 60i to be able to work, or rather a PAL device here to buy a better warranty and have to live with 50i.
have so far only with its consumercam filmed the normal SD PAL 50i with recording. but mainly because I wakeboard and wakeskate movie making (amateur!) and thus quite a lot slomos establishment. catch the action in sports requires a very fast, therefore, the reflexion of 10 frames per second the more general slomos and the impressive building really only be beneficial.
I would, however, your professional opinion on the subject very interesting. Many thanks in advance.

The difference between 60i and 50i can be seen in practice, hardly. This is definitely not worth the problems of 60i in Purchase to take.

I believe everything you here in the forum have already read it (eg flicker at 50-Hz fluorescent tube light, Inkompatibiliät with older PAL TVs, warranty problems and inches on foreign buying, etc.).
A 60-Hz device can be interesting if one for the U.S. market (or for the American kinship) produced, and then saves the eating quality standards conversion. Only because of the higher frequency, it is not.
If you seriously go to slomo, you should wait on the equipment, which briefly with record 100fps or more. Something like there is today, but to my knowledge so far only in SD quality.

slomos such as you ansprichst I have unfortunately only available in consumer-sony cams found. 3 seconds recording time is nearly synonymous legally for my purposes, with PAL but I could probably still live. Such features are in-prosumer cams like a sony FX7 ever exist?
EDIT:
okay, grad ergoogled the FX7 is a slomo-functional and even has more than 6 seconds. that would of course be perfect for me.
