I have searched, only then was not really mentioned it, but to what really delivers as amazon.com, etc.
I prefer considering a NTSC DVD with region codes 1 to buy (of course only if they are synonymous, I can play). Now I have a Dell laptop with DVD drive. For the area code so I can just listen, by asking the notebook as a country United States or Canada indicates. But can the laptop, the DVD will play really synonymous? Despite NTSC?

PCs make it easy, but do not forget that the region code change can only 5x.
