Frage von soenke:Hi folks,
I was stuck in a project producing several DVDs that come onto the market in America. The production process is quite special because of special circumstances (Webcam recording - will> change the video with Flash -> DVD burn), so I am somewhat uncertain as the result look like on a real NTSC TV.
Question: Is there the possibility of an NTSC device for testing in Germany to operate (the problem will probably be the line frequency of 50Hz, you can hochschrauben at 60Hz?).
Regards,
Sönke
Antwort von Erich:
Hello!
Virtually all DVD players can play NTSC. Ggf. output in the setup "auto" or the like to choose (so no PAL 60 is).
Many current television can play PAL-NTSC signals.
My device is the local AFN-TV station did not receive it, it only has a PAL tuner, but once over SCART NTSC signal is eingespeißt, it will cleanly.
Greeting!
Erich

Thank you, would the time to test. Enter PAL NTSC Television synonymous exactly once, as it would a NTSC device? There should be no halt unpleasant surprise when the DVD is inserted in the Amiland.

Hi Sönke,
if you make a big production, what speaks against a Test spot? Do you know anyone in North America, on a trial which you could send a DVD? Who are the customers of this DVD? Might have produced about a contact?
About the region, I would not worry me. If there are non-burned DVDs and if pressed, you can determine it yourself. And in case of doubt the DVDs will be pressed just "code free". ;-)
