Frage von Eugen von ...:Hello together,
I have an HDTV recording of a video by the American broadcaster HBO with ac3 in English and would now like to turn of my German, own the DVD ac3 or dts sound (PAL, German) with this video together.
Is it possible there is a software program, the two TV standards may converge?
The German DVD is 1:51:00, the record 1:55:00, but they are identical versions.
Can someone help?
Gruß,
fuzzilein

I will not do so here on the dark canal was probably only speculate on the video has come to you. Is synonymous wurst, because: Without much effort, it is not. In PAL-area films to be speeded up four per cent (which explains the time difference). You could join the two versions together just by typing your PAL AC3 file into PCM dekodierst, with appropriate Wave Editor slow again in AC3 kodierst and then the whole multiplext. Sounds complicated and it is synonymous and the audio quality is not conducive.
In other words: Let it!

Unpleasant is only when one of the films is a different cut

"Sounds complicated"
Stand because of what can not or Impossible? And if you really Superduper-one-click program know that the questioner could help, you should call it - I'm curious ...

The adaptation of the soundtrack and the DVD Neuauthoring lasts up to one hour.
And just because you are not a program which can be done in one click so that means that not everyone is for.
Antwort von Eugen von ...:
@ Asker: Show the contribution due to the time difference. With Audacity you get the change without changes in pitch ever in the theory out.
But if the film actually has a different cut (I call times "It was once in America": the total was umgeschnitten for American audiences, because those time jumps could not expect ...), then you have a problem. Synonymous And if the duration zwae theoretically by a factor has been changed anyway, but just not practical (commercial breaks, broadcasters have been a little more speed ...)
That is, if something synonymous here claimed, never in an hour to create. What do you think why you are in many other countries with subtitles satisfied?
Conclusion: forget it.
