Hello,
By now almost 9 years, my Camcoder (SonyDCR post-700E) is now the Spirit!
Now I want to buy a new camcorder!
Today I was once in the media market and have noted with dismay that) they have actually only this terrible mini-camcorder (almost as small as a cell phone!
I was unfortunately the last few years not even with the "advancement" of the camcorder, and deals only know of one that used to always say, the smaller a camcorder, the worse the image quality.
As it looks now, this statement still true??
How mitlerweile the quality of these mini-camcorders in Comparison to my old DCR-VX700E?
Can anyone recommend me a particular camcorder?
Seeking a way to 500 ¬, the quality of her but I'm already quite high expectations ...
Is it for the money there at all a good unit?
Who can help me?

The VX700 is still the smaller brother of the VX1000 and the unit has yet to score many good quality. Perhaps it is worthwhile to repair the camcorder?

compare the increase in quality that you'd have to find an adequate, current reference for the VX700.
The VX700 was then the "smaller brother" of the Top-Class-VX1000 camcorder. Meantime, after the latter has one successor, the VX2100 (approx. ¬ 2,400), but this does not have a little brother more.
Would you now compare the VX700 with the VX2100, the result would be clear in any case! ;-)
