Hello community,
'm Just off to buy my first camcorder. My price limit is 400 euros. I saw that the Canon MVX1s just for 399, - to have.
1. What I have taken:
- Greater CCD for good image quality
- Housing dimensions (very small and handlch)
2. What I put less value:
- DV-IN
- Zoom (10x totally sufficient to be synonymous blur-be!)
3. What I have found niergends:
- Like (f-number of the lens synonymous reached at dusk one Odent quality).
- Test reports and reviews on the MVX1s. In answering questions at point 3, I would be really grateful.
Of course, synonymous for all kinds of other tips, buying guides, and alternatives.

F-number has called me a salesman. In wide Angle1, 8 I do not think is bad, so I think that is synonymous Optics suitable for the dawn.

Hello, I'll get back again.
Find it rather unfortunate that no one of you reported.
The camera arrived this morning (16.08). Of course I lie and leave everything and unpack them directly.
First Impressions: God is small.
Directly noticed drawbacks:
~ Battery is behind the LCD, so no bulky Batteries can be used.
~ No private Charger (Battery is loaded into the camera). Is probably optional.
Skip struck advantages:
~ Built-cap, not the s.einer cord and nerves depends on every recording.
~ Very, very compact dimensions.
~ High quality workmanship.
~ Apparently durchdachtangebrachte controls.
First Short Test:
~ The Battery was full after 2 h, which is quite good. Battery keeps minutes in optimal use of 120th in normal shooting with zoom, minutes, etc. around 70th Is sufficient, one cartridge per Battery. As mentioned above, the compactness is more important to me.
~ The display makes a pretty good impression (the backlight) can be switched on or switched off.
~ 10x optical zoom is real class (synonymous with the photo shoot in real 2 MegaPixel quality on the MiniSD!).
~ The menu navigation is structured clearly and logically (my first camcorder and I understand, synonymous with no real manual everything!).
~ Optical viewfinder with Dioptriausgleich
~ Many different modes and effects.
If I have my test shots on my calculator, I will continue writing. I would appreciate feedback on real me.

Unfortunately, I could not count on the support of the Forum. Well, there worse, myself am great, o)
The Camera has confirmed its first positive impression.
The test shots are all managed. My archiving (DVD burn) shows significant differences in quality between the new Canon (2.2 MP) and an older Panasonic (2-3 years, 0.8 MP). Both in class, at 400.
Do not misunderstand, this is no criticism s.Panasonic. Would be unfortunate if this were not so! The film is dark, fast movements but are "smeared". I had expected so synonymous, but you can achieve acceptable results in the dark. At dusk, however, the camera is echt klasse (Aperture of F1, 8). The Nachprogramm is because not needed, only on the zoom should be dispensed with.
The automatic mode will help to get started quickly. Those who know a bit about (that most people who can read and write!), To vent synonymous with the manual settings. Is there enough of them (I myself have not tried everything).
What is to be mentioned: the camera is great to use (one handed), but you should practice this before the first real use of "something.
The photo quality is very well opt for a camcorder (2MP + 10th zoom).

What does that battery is loaded into the camera. Kan I in time where loads Battery

I cut the Pinacle Studio 8 to capture and. Sometimes a bit unstable, but I hold an original full version of it. It has been going quite well with it. For tips, I am forever grateful.
The connection s.den PC was easy, Dubbing via Firewire no problem.
Yes, the battery is loaded into the camera.
As an optional accessory (synonymous with Ebay), there are external chargers for <30 euros. Thus the Batteries can be loaded outside of the action. If you want to use it as a camera tripod, you could (if Electricity is available s.das) depend 230 V mains, then you can shoot forever. Otherwise, as a rule of thumb, a battery per tape.

What has the size (small size) with the capability for a tripod too? I screw every camera, whether large or small on a tripod, if I want to have quiet and spoiling the pictures.

When the camera is used exclusively as a camera tripod, then you can set different criteria to grunde which is the size of the camera is then only of secondary importance. You get the same money for a camera with the same equipment features and DVIN, but it's just a little bigger, but this does not matter.

Synonymous, it seems to be a "MVX1" with at F1.6, I can confirm that someone? Yes, I can. The older MVX1 (s.Sommer 2001 to the market)) has at the smallest focal (= wide a largest aperture of 1.6, which dates back to 1.8 in telephoto position.

I've gained this recommendation usaufgrund one MVX1s and am now quite satisfied. I have the following question relating to or 16:9 Wide Mode:
Is this attsächlich a "true" 16:9 mode, which uses more pixels in the Width synonymous, or are cut only in the Height pixels above and below?
16:9 or only runs on a different Pixel Aspect Ratio, ie, with pixels that are not square but is slightly wider than higher?
Dubbing running with me about Movie Maker 2.1. When I was there in the video properties PAL 16:9 mode, and to cite the resulting AVI file will play in Media Player 11, see the end product of quite reasonable, at least not distorted. I open the file for example with Virtual Dub, but it is stretched in the Height, the specified number of pixels is 720x576. Obviously, Virtual Dub, the pixel aspect ratio does not recognize?
But even the correct 720x576 PAL 16:9 resolution ...?

Sounds almost as if you try to transfer the video recordings with USB too? If so, then take firewire. Here you will find all the necessary information to:

Thou canst safe with Canon synonymous nor the manual that MVX1s download, in which the approach should also be described.
