Hello,
have the following problem with the JVC HD100:
PC connected via Firewire s.den I try to capture HDV material. The camera is recognized of XP, but Vegas 6.0 does not detect any device.
Is there something special to note? HDV is set s.der Camera.

Vegas 6 has two completely different capture tools.
The one that was included in as in all previous versions, called VidCap is actually an external module that is called internal - and VidCap is exclusively for DV capturing. HDV cameras can not address it.
The other is the internal capture module that is designed exclusively for HDV - and SDI capture. That you need to use it.
