Hi,
check in times Premieres Preferences -> Sound Devices -> Asio settings whether there everything is set correctly. It is also possible that you have to connect the audio out of the Matrox with the audio to the soundcard.

Have I bought an HP workstation and also equipped with EMU 0404 sound card and Matrox RT.X100 Xtreme. Work with Adobe Premiere 1.5, Audition 1.5, Encore DVD 1.5 and Photoshop CS.
One wants to believe that these things are aligned (at least that they should be).
My problem is this: when I connect via the matrox breakout box as an S-VHS recorder to move a tape into the calculator on the hard drive, then the project must create in Premiere corresponding configurations are defined. If the project is then created, these configurations can be correct if necessary again in the project settings.
The button "A / V inputs" in the premiere recording settings, I get into a matrox window where I both the video stream that can route alsauch according to the audio stream. For video that is a choice "S-Video / Composite / Fire Wire," which, logically, in my example, I put on the "S-VHS".
Now was the synonymous an audio setting to be possible. IT IS NOT! The Audio window is inactive!
The comic s.der whole story is this: I start the S-VHS recorder (ie PLAY) and find myself in a recording window of Premiere, I have over the green audio - Out of the Matrox card to the sound of the video on my headphones (or even) on the speakers. I operate, but the Record button in Premiere, Premiere will ONLY video on features!? No sound is recorded.
Now the great trivia question:
What have I done wrong and how can I remedy this??
I would be very happy if it is found within this forum for a solution to my problem ...

Hi,
First look at times in the preferences of Premiere to -> Audio -> Asioeinstellungen whether there's just as accurate.
Moreover, it could be that the line out of your Matrox with the line in the
EMU 0404 should be connected.

I guess my problem is rooted in the correct configuration of my EMU 0404th So I do not know exactly synonymous, whether the Asio settings are correct. Yesterday a friend of the synonymous Asio DirectX Full Duplex Setup of Steinberg received, which offers further opportunities while, but unfortunately does not solve my problem ...
The cables are properly connected with the matrox the sound card. The sound comes from the green correctly stereo jack of matrox, when I play the video or example, work in Audition. Only when recording in Premiere, no sound is recorded.
