Hello first! Maybe someone can help me a video of the Camera to my PC to play.
I use the following equipment:
SonyHDR-HC7
Pinnacle Studio 12.1 (attempt with Movie Maker and Sony proposed program fails synonymous!)
HP HDX 1080 Notebook (quasi-new hard disks defragmented and almost empty)
Sonyi.Link cable
And so looking at the problem:
The camera is detected, the recording starts synonymous properly, there is no error message. However, the preview screen remains blank and there are no frames audsgelesen. The resulting file (. M2v) has 0kb and obviously can not be opened.
Interesting detail:
It is possible, and to tape simultaneously incorporated in Studio12, so of live camera into a file.
The Pinnacle support could not help so far, I think not synonymous, that Pinnacle's fault, since Movie Maker and the Sony software, the same problems persist.

geh times after a player google .. But why then does a direct recording on tape and file. In addition to yes or no. M2v file, or just a file with 0kb.
And if Studio 12. M2v files are produced, it can probably feel or act synonymous?

I would once the menu settings ( "-h EINST. Menu") of your control cam. When you must change the Firewire connection is separated.

The menu with the settings sounds plausible. I will try it once I'm back home. Until then, I am charged for each additional tip grateful. I am annoyed is because I bought extra Studio12, in assuming my problems to solve.
