Infoseite // Noise from Panasonic NV-GS 280

Frage von Tobias25:

Hello,
I have my Panasonic NV-GS 280 purchased.

If there is something dark in the room, then the images are noisy now totally ...
I am absolutely clear that in this amateur camera should not expect miracles, but there is a way synonymous with low-light images somewhat freer rushing to get?

Can anyone explain what times with this "residual light amplification" is all about?
If one link in the menu "Iris" to 0dB, then the noise is not so much visible, but the recordings are then etxrem dark.

Who can think of times as a few tips?

Regards
Tobias

Light it! Not easy ceiling lamp, but selectively illuminate the subject. With mobile lighting (desk lamps) in the absence of light Lichtsets so set that creates the desired effect. 0 dB is good. Stay here. Dear dark as noisy.

Did you have when setting 0dB, so to speak, the "real" lighting situation (ie no electronic amplification)?

In the menu "Iris" are at the moment with me the following values:
1 / 50
OPEN
0dB

Are these then the optimal settings?

What is the value of OPEN (or F2.0, Q2.4 ....)?
What does 1 / 50?

I'm sorry that I so much question, but in this manual is as Sogut garnicht about these settings.

Greeting
Tobias

The exposure time is 1/50tel of a second. Still good motion resolution.
"Tobias25" wrote: OPEN
The aperture is opened, each higher stage aperture means that the next aperture is closed (high number = small aperture, somewhat paradoxical, but it's. With open aperture of the focus range is smaller, because the light is no longer so strong is bundled . Most of the works then synonymous autofocus no longer correct.).

No, it's simply the last resort, (no residual light amplification) to a recording to make. If you make enough light, the automatic transmission you might Aperture 4. There is technically no different than the pictures. Sooner or want a camera flash have (technically bright enough, often too bright, but as everyone knows is not good for the mood of the picture). Ignore you, then the Recording blurred, noisy or simply too dark.

These facts relate to all cams, the so-called synonymous bright.

Welcome to the world Lowlight problem!

That is how it is even with 4000 ¬ cameras - even the views are quite bright GNP DSR PD 170th Prior stands with degree of FX 7 - is struggling mightily to grade my poorly lit living room without some extreme noise on tape to get.

The 1 / 50 second is the current Panasonic Consumer longest shutter speed without a night program that is already good, Aperture 1.8 (open in GS 180 / 280) synonymous, it would be unwise synonymous with genuine lack of light to close the aperture to be less light to receive.

Reinforcement you need to test, depending on the camera can be seen with 3 or 6 dB gain, I think even with FX 7, the man synonymous 9 dB can use without excessive noise. If holding times is not otherwise enhances higher - a noisy picture is better than a black or later during editing program brighten.

If no movement in the picture, you can already by Tripod from the night program - manual - joystick activate Moon & Stars, longer shutter speed (1/3-1/6 second makes the picture a bit brighter)

The much-SonyHC 94 & 96 makes the picture but without night program (NightShot & Slow Shutter) synonymous not better, a little sharpener & more / richer colors but sometimes even darker - at least in the dark warehouse "my" company.

A lamp on the accessory shoe of the GS 180 would be set but the smartest option, I had today synonymous with the FX 7, the 20 Watt "Kopfnotlicht" drauf (HVL 20 DW 2) - it is now not other times.
