Infoseite // Notebook as a live monitor?

After I have been around longer looking for, I now look my question. Bin beginners and ask for leniency if it is primitive.

I wish for educational purposes by (not yet existing) DV Cam human motion capture. It is the notebook as a monitor for the student to serve on which he himself can watch live.

So how do I connect the camera to s.das NB? What do I need?

Would be glad if someone could help next.

Hello!
When my Sony DV Cam goes for a USB cable which was included in the package. But I would still recommend a Firewire cable, as this higher frame rate is achieved, which is the recording of movements of interest should be, because otherwise very choppy effect.
Otherwise just the camcorder as a webcam via USB s.das notebook connect (settings of the USB streams in the camcorder menu note!), Has been with me brilliantly.

You need a software. This could be a capture tool with preview, such as WinDV.

Also this is via Firewire with WinDV. Should the recorded files are smaller (than 13 GB per hour) and to a further processing or preparation of DVDs is not required, then you can use synonymous with the Windows Movie Maker to record the recommended setting.

You need not necessarily a camcorder. Still, many cameras can be as synonymous WebCam (for example, with WinAVI).
If you have a camcorder buy: The WebCam possibly be compliant, not all are dass

I would really much prefer a "Still Camera" (surely you mean a normal image Knipps Still Camera?) Buy something that is missing to me straight.
But is the quality of moving images in such things as sufficient? Yes I want to make motion studies, and although of rapid movements (drummer).

And: How can I tell if a DV Cam webcam-compliant?

Whether the images of a Still Camera for Your motion studies, I do not know enough. Ich hab of motion studies and your requirements s.die pictures / video I do not know. Try it out, if necessary you buy a device with full right of return.
The quality of the images is ussynonymous of the software used and your pictures / video and PC-Wissen/-Können dependent.
Whether a clippers or an Camcorders Life pictures (shooting mode) can s.den PC is usually in the instructions. The seller should know but synonymous.

This is both with a camcorder as synonymous with a Digiknipse be more borderline. Look at the contribution of Sport Cam shots with slow motion (and its link), which are affordable options there.

hello friends,

many of your comments are to me far too superficial. Therefore, my question today:
have a Sony-NB with IEE 1394-jack, win xpsp2, and Canon XM2. How can I use the NB as a full-screen use, without capturing?
A) directly live without film!
B) by a recorded movie on the NB view.

Funny hints such as "building a graphics card with DV - In" are not helpful, because the NB's can be synonymous without the. Under My Computer> Scanners / cameras can I use my camera and call the movie in the mini-chart format.
So I ask you to correct or reference tips on simple software tools.

For the cut, I have a separate PC with Pinnacle Studio Plus 10.5.
I will never more an editing program on my PC user!

None of my previously used Capture Tools is a sound made when the data are not simultaneously on the hard drive is stored. Furthermore, it is only a preview of what it promises: A Preview, no reference. The fact that the image does not correspond to what a DV camcorder to offer, hang with the differences between computer monitor and television together.

Is freeware and allows full-screen live monitor and capture. Can be found easily on the net.

Whether sound at full-screen live monitor is good, I do not know. I can imagine that because of possible feedbacks on the recording can be quite disturbing.

An "alarmingly poor image quality" makes me suspect that a TFT or LCD monitor is used and the interlaced video is displayed. Then there are typical Franzeln s.bewegten edges. When a good player program, you can use a deinterlace filter on what the displayed picture can improve.
