Infoseite // Notebook for DV editing?

Frage von lloerpm:

Hello video producers!
I would like to buy a new notebook, which I am synonymous with DV editing can operate.
My budget is around 1000, - EUR.
I'm using 9.4.3 as the Pinnacle editing system.
Can you recommend me a notebook, or tell me what requirements it must meet in order to secure DV editing to the finished film to be delivered? (Was with my desktop calculator constantly crashes when rendering)
Greetings!
Michael

The following criteria should be met in the NL should be:

min. DualCore ProZ, min 2 GB of memory, Firewire port, additional ext. Connecting an additional monitor to extend the Dektops, large plate s.besten with another external disk.

Manufacturer is (imho) no preference, the important thing is the above criteria are met. I would consider synonymous, Vista to replace XP.

I would not buy NoName notebook.
The brand is synonymous manufacturers seem no longer to be what they once were (my 'good' old Compaq is now 7 years old, but runs like ne one and looks - thanks to careful handling - still good; spares situation is pretty well synonymous) , but most parts NoName see after his year as from the dustbins and fished Ersatzteilmaessig isses then synonymous rather mau.

I just cut s.einem Asus laptop with 2Gb Ram and Dual Core 1.7 Gh. Actually perfect for DV editing. Well, unfortunately, the CPU only 7% of the average performance. The result: Stock Images.
On a desktop PC is just different, which is always full power.

PS: Did you actually affect the performance of the CPU in a laptop? eg on the task of cutting the priority program on "higher than normal" set ...

Versteh honestly not quite how the problem looks like.

CPU usage is cut in only 7%? (ie if only the editing program is running and you do nothing else, this sounds rather normal - it happens so synonymous not much, what the CPU load)
Utilization rates at 7% at synonymous (preview) rendering?

Perhaps incorrect setting in the program. Actually, the utilization when rendering or preview at least 50% (if the program only one core can use) and is the C2D should be fast enough to if you do not use great effects and benuntzt SD-only preview in real time to calculate.

It should be in bios or in the operating somewhere off the power saving mechanisms can, then the CPU is not runtergetaktet if grad nix labor-intensive agenda.
And some notebooks are on battery power forced into low-power mode and drive the display brightness and CPU speed down. So more power-hungry applications with eingestoepseltem electricity.

That was not meant as synonymous. With 1000 euros is a synonymous Noname NB not relevant anyway. Meanwhile, actually (almost) all NB equally well or poorly. The assembled parts are distinguished in this segment barely. The only thing that makes it expensive, is a high-quality graphics card, but when cutting a subordinate role.
