when the camcorder manufacturers reduce their next recording chips as before, then the synonymous soon come. ;-)

CCTV want the capability to produce images with total depth of field, long there is depth at all?
Does depth of field but is not it?

Does depth of field but is not it? = Depth of field in front of the lens in which objects are
relatively sharp (DOF).
Depth of focus =
absolute distance> recording level without tolerance> "flange"

Depth of focus = absolute distance> recording level without tolerance> "flange" Area in front of the lens? You mean behind ...
The depth is measured over two central issues, however, describes the depth of field (originally) the sharp contrast of the focus point in Comparison to the background. But is increasingly used as synonyms.

At Wikipedia, Of depth is forwarded to figure Depth:
The image depth is the one area in the image space of an imaging optical system in which such a sufficiently sharp picture of a focused object.
This means that the image plane (an image sensor, a photographic film) can be shifted in the figure depth *, without the picture of an object is noticeably blurred. The image depth thus represents the opposite of depth of field, because this is the area in object space, which is shown on the image plane sufficiently sharp. * Edit: But not really. If the flange is not true, is the best - and calibrated mainly on the distance setting of Optics - sharpness gone.

... as have people thousands of dollars on DSLR cameras, so that everything is blurred, and now they have to buy a camera, with which everything is sharp ...

btw loool. the picture looks a bit offensive ... I just had to get rid of it! : D
B2T: I will never actually synonymous everything sharp. probably only really makes sense for surveillance cameras system operations or special. example, if two people of different sizes should look like, they have different distances away of the camera, but not by equal sharpness strikes ...
