Hello,
I have a movie (Greek kisses) from the ORF with the Topfield 5000
Satellite receiver included.
The original Rec-File (5.81 GB) has been copied to your PC.
Programs Used:
ProjectX
Mpeg2Schnitt,
DVD-lab PRO v2.0,
Nero 8th
WinXP
The VOBs, BUF, IFO files is 5.03 GB.
On a DVD (4.7 GB) I could not burn the files.
What possibilities there are, on a 4.7 GB DVD to burn?
Or that I can only burn to a DL DVD?

DVD Shrink, etc. use. Of course, the quality deteriorates
slightly.

With Nero 8 should be as a DVD to be part Bastel with which to do it. I
think it is Nero Recode.

The used version of Nero 7 Premium is Nero.

Even with Nero 7 since the program is called Nero Recode. We recoded the files
so that they fit a normal DVD.

There I was able to convey the material on a 4.7 GB DVD to burn.
However, part of the authoring is away (start menu), the chapter marks
are still available.
But do not bother me.

Not necessarily. I always try to kick unused audio tracks
and the menus, extra material ... This goes so well with DVD Shrink.
Then a film with me in most cases already on a DVD
with 4.7 GB pass without s.der grade negotiable.

A second soundtrack, I have imported, let's see if I
omit ...
There are two soundtracks, the file extension, I have forgotten, as on a
other computer processing is done, the PC is not in my area ..
What additional material can omit DVD Shrink?
The recording was with a Topfield 5000 Date (Sender: ORF).

Why scheust you before? Blank-price? Playback problems?
I burn - where necessary - for years to DLs, and I am very
happy with it.

One can not with DVD Shrink only original DVD-video "shrink"
but synonymous in DVD format converted TV material. I think Nero
Recode has the shrink mechanism synonymous of an older DVD Shrink
Version.
Can be synonymous, that I with the mechanism in Nero just with
another software governed'm 70% sure. But the Shrinker
of TV material works very well with DVD Shrink.

No program can not be existing soundtracks or additional material
