Frage von Ellie:
Have a theater recording with the Panasonic NV GS 300 is done and now someone wants to cut through the combination laptop and beamer imagine an audience.
 Questions:
 1) Was it useful to the whole in the 16:9 format to shoot, or I would have taken better 4:3?
 2) Which format should I choose, so that the good performance across?
 3) Do I have to basically predict about where the video is then shown to the recording format to choose?

 1) Was it useful to the whole in the 16:9 format to shoot, or I would have taken better 4:3? The size plays no role. Basically, I find the wide stage shots with fully suitable, since theaters are usually wider than 4:3.
 2) Which format should I choose, so that the good performance across? 16:9 obviously, because then you need not be converted and the image quality does not suffer.
 3) Do I have to basically predict about where the video is then shown to the recording format to choose? No, not really. Modern Play-(here: DVD player) and output devices (TV, projector) can change. And when a 16:9 - video optimized for the computer, should you choose an image size anyway, the 16:9 with square pixels achieved.
