Hello,
I have to Google for info about PAL - NTSC and am looking at this page encountered.
My situation is this: I am a student until the end of July 2007 in the USA. At Christmas I was at home in Germany and I've bought Wii spontaneously, when the Situated about this bot. The device is accordingly on the PAL standard.
Now I'm back and the console actually works s.meinem American television, but the picture only in black and white. You can use the console while between 50 and 60 Hz switch on the color, however, this has no effect.
Some games are specifically designed for use below 50 Hz and 60 excellent, despite the fact that they are PAL games. If your Wii is not limited to NTSC switch lets you have a need TV, which can switch to PAL. In 99% of American Television, however, does it not.
Alternatively you can view a PAL-to-NTSC converter hardware purchase. Costs around $ 200 plus tax when there is probably at Radio Shack or B & H or the network (previously in the store a try, since there are considerable differences in quality). PowerMac, the PC is s.den RCA video of the TV connected. On Page Wii is a Male, in my opinion of proprietary content and Nintendo is in video and two audio RCA ends.
Sorry, there in my opinion, no other way and Television console to connect and I was not aware that it was not clear.

The PAL Wii running in the U.S. and sends a color s.den NSTC Television. I have the above-linked NSTC to PAL converter only anden and he has solved the problem. Why? No clue.
