Frage von Phillie:Hi,
've been rummaging in the forum and try now been around all day s.meinem problem, but it will not succeed.
Problem:
I have a movie available on the German PAL VHS and NTSC VHS the same movie on the English. I have digitized both films with my Canopus A / D converter - if everything is OK.
Now I will put the English soundtrack on the PAL video. This, however, experience some Ungereintheiten.
1.) The running length of both video (PAL and NTSC) is indene table almost to the minute - why?
Therefore, I have only time to adjust the soundtrack without frame rate conversion attempt, since the duration is the same. Unfortunately, the film was only the first approximately 25 minutes and then ran synchronously apart always next. So I tried the following:
1.) English of TS 23.970 FPS changed at 25.000 fps (BeSweet)
2.) English TS of 29, xxx FPS changed at 25.000 fps (BeSweet)
adapt both times tried, but in both tests, but I took it absolutely no little synchronously. The best way it worked in the upper () method without any change. But as I said was apart Picture and sound after a while always next.
Normally it should but the NTSC video over another length than the PAL video or? This is not so. Low Budget provided that the two versions are completely identical (and so they are in my opinion, synonymous to 100%) - why do not flip it? I have not observed anything?
Would be great if someone could help me here.
Liebe Grüße
Phil
Antwort von Phillie:
Did the problem is now resolved itself. There were yet other responsible for cuts in the film. The duration was almost identical in both versions was random. I had to make about 10 smaller sections until it fit.
However, I had to convert s.der TS etc. It has almost nothing to fit already, down to the same cuts, which were slightly different in the U.S. version.
