Frage von JFK:Hello everybody!
I am in possession of a slightly older camcorder type PANASONIC NV DS15. Is it possible to use USB 2.0 instead of Firewire for the transmission to use? Will say or ask: Is there a cable (USB to mini-Firewire), and if so, the camera via the USB interface addressed?
For help, many thanks in advance

Basically, the forum for the transfer with Firewire
advised, because that is the successful path.
But anyone who uses the latest hardware, which should be synonymous on Cam
USB 2.0 will recognize and be responsive.
Yes, there is such a cable, for example reichelt.de

The camera is so old that you first USB 1.1 port, USB 2.0 high speed has become so ca late 2004 / early 2005 for Pana in some models enforced. DS 15 is still ne corner aging.
The adapter of Pixela USB 2.0, FW is a myth in my opinion, there is basically no experience reports, in a forum rausgefunden should have been the data are downkonvertiert - Resolution320x240 - most messages are of 2004. I'll give nothing to the device, the price was already three synonymous. Firewire is more reliable as synonymous. Can really with almost any program.
Even USB 2.0 Highspeedfähige zb Pana's GS 180 will not accept of any program, by FW already.
