Can I transfer of PC to a DVD recorder?

How? What software do I need?
Firewire card I have.

So far I have Firewire s.PC only used as input for recording of DV camcorder. That works without problems.

When it made no sense, I could save myself the question, yes.

I have cut and edited videos on PC, but unfortunately no DVD burners, but more recently a DVD recorder, which I jump of transducer-DV camcorder.

My old videos on a PC but I would like to burn it to DVD, instead of DivX, SVCD, VCD.

So again the question: How do I get the videos from the PC via firewire to DVD recorder?

I did not say that it makes no sense .. but what?

It's quite unusual that you have no DVD Burner in the PC, so I was not really expected. Do not you think it would be worthwhile to install one? Which now cost less than 40 euro. In particular, it saves the dubbing and can use every conceivable format.

Closing times they cooperate with a cable. Sounds like a stupid answer though, but it is Nirg that you have tried it already. The decisive factor is how the calculator recognizes the device. If he recognizes it as a recording device or something similar, you should can record the video as simple as on a camera. If this is not so, tell us what your calculator tells you ...

I try würds synonymous einfach mal ... a blank but you can probably risk shcon;)

Alternatively, if your dv-cam in the film has once again ausspilen on the mini dv and then connect s.deien dvd-recorder .... complicated, time consuming and naja:)

Many DVD recorders accept only camcorder as a playback devices, but no PC. Therefore, my contribution s.dieser point: I wish you good luck! ;-)

1. Of course, I have connected a firewire cable ;-)
2. The PC recognizes nothing too (hardware search unsuccessfully)
3. The DVD recorder does not detect a source. For the Record "he shows me the" no parking "sign.

but probably only "in" direction of PC and not "of" PC.

What was it like to apply for one device? Manufacturer, Model ...?

If no DVD recorder or PC to any type of beep, then I would first make the quality of the used cable into question.

Can you test the cable times elsewhere? Or perhaps even synonymous use a different cable?

Synonymous, I would like to know if it is all about sending of a PC via Firewire / iLink on a DVD recorder video data.
What I have read was only that Philips probably can. Is that correct, if indeed all Philips or whatever, and you can at the (few) (other devices may cheat as unlocking a DV - In with camcorders) and one must make certain settings?

Asker Many simply do not want to accept the given answers.
