Frage von Debonnaire:URGENTLY need an answer until tomorrow, Tuesday, 22.08.2006 evening! I want to work for the first time in 16:9, but I have no experience with it.
For a project I want to mix the shot each in 16:9 shooting my Panasonic AG-DVX100 with those of a SonyPD150 in the same Project and have made this test with two camcorders recording in 16:9 mode. These I have found in a Premiere Pro 2.0 Project widescreen (16:9) compared to imports and the timeline.
The clips of the PD150 fill the 16:9 project window completely, while I have to scale those of the DVX100 it to 134%.
When I import the same clips into Premiere Pro 2.0 Project Standard (4:3), I must, conversely, the scale of the PD150 at 75.5% clip, so they are congruent with those of the DVX100.
It seems that the DVX100 just above and below s.4 :3-picture with black bars at the 16:9 format "simulated", but I was vertical Resolutionkostet. What makes the PD150 to get this full-format on widescreen too?
My questions (to which I really need urgent conclusive answers, since I s.Mittwoch film):
1. Is it better in Premiere Pro 2.0 Project to make a widescreen and the clips of upscale DVX100, or a Standard Project and all the clips of the PD150 runterzuskalieren to produce ultimately on the DVD or via the projector to 16:9 as high quality?
2. If I take a standard project, but it is actually a 4:3-window shows / (projitziert simply with black bars above and below) rather than a true 16:9, right?
3. How do I have for now also with the DVX100 s.ein 16:9 rangehen Project, so it will work and comes out the best quality? I'm really confused! Please help! :-)
Thank you very much!

You are confusing a little bit ...
The PD150/170 and the DVX100 both standard PAL cameras with 4:3. In other words, the chip is synonymous 4:3. The DVX100 but only 4:3 synonymous 16:9 two different modes: letterbox and squeeze. Simply cut from 4:3 letterbox bars above and below picture will s.bevor the recordings on tape, this means you lose vertical resolution. Practically a standard 4:3 picture with bars in the video signal. With Squeeze is a bit different, the chip synonymous dissolves only a 4:3 picture, puts bars over it, takes the subtracted (without beam) Picture and stores it on tape anamorphic squeezed.
Say, let your PD150 as she is doing and squeeze in fashion with the DVX100. I hope that your DVX supports this.
You then choose a 16:9 anamorphic DV Project and everything will be alright. (Except for the ugly look of the Sony ...)
Basically: you have a 16:9 adapter?

Thanks for the prompt and thorough response!
Unfortunately, the DVX100 has only one normal-and a letterbox mode. Crap!
Or do you know (or anyone else) how the DVX100 something like nen herauskitzelt squeeze mode (which is probably the PD150 does by default)?
No, an anamorphic attachment for the DVX100, I have not unfortunately. Otherwise, there's still options for me?

Then you should edit synonymous with the PD150 and a 4:3 letterbox turn perfectly normal Project. You then process twice with 4:3 smoky in the video signal. In the end, then you could make * 1:33 and grab the thing to anamorphic DVDs.
If you want the best quality, but render time is not bad, then let the PD150 in their (pseudo-) 16:9 mode, and a true 16:9 Project editing. The normal 4:3 of DVX must then be grossed up, but still ... talk circumcised Picture (bars rid of) and * 1.33. It takes just always ...

'm Not sure whether the PD150 nen letterbox mode has. If not, then I leave it as it is suppose to bebalkte Picture of the DVX100, and then throw both into a widescreen project and blow up the clips of the DVX100? Richtig so?

Yes!

a question about SonyPD 150 and Panasonic DVX 100, if I need a 16:9 picture.
What's the picture or pixel better for me at the PD 150 Recording in Squezzemodus, or if I choose Panasonic letterbox and subsequently pull up to 16:9 (as I was losing image quality when Sonysynonymous?) Or they are the same as they both have only a 4:3 chip.
Thanks for the help
