Hello,
I own a Panasonic NV GS11, and have the same problem as described here many times before. In the Device Manager to find the 61,883 - class device with a yellow exclamation point and the camcorder is not recognized. (Affiliated with Firewire - DV - cable was included with the-Camera)
The funny thing is that it actually has worked flawlessly until half a year, and now this. (I have Win XP Home with SP2 - with all updates until today)
My question: Depends on the problem of the firewire drivers from the Firewire card or the device driver. Firewire card is recognized correctly in Device Manager.
've Seen through many subjects and found, but none that would have solved my problem. The file DV_Driver.zip I could try no more, because it is impossible to find elsewhere.
Last resort:
Can anyone tell me whether a Neuaufsetzung brings something of the system, or whether they are synonymous then the same problems or whether this would be a waste of time.

yesterday on a fast 2nd Partition the system (Windows XP), and lo and behold, the camera will be installed as a Microsoft DV - Video ... Device detected. In Device Manager, Panasonic DV Camera as a device to appear.
I then contain old ServicePack2 together until now available updates, and until now everything works.
I still have the following question:
1) When I turn on the camera will show the message Microsoft DV - found device ...... And it appears the window, possibly create with Microsoft Movie - Makers something that works synonymous.
2) Have synonymous program Ulead Video Studio 9 installed, but with this program is not controlling me the camera. Do I need this program has a Drivers or codec or something like that?
