Hi,
I just unpacked my SD-909 and I'm familiar with the action.
It has struck me, that is when you press the zoom lever to hear a faint rattling noise from the operation mode slider. Triggered by the forced light touch of the index finger during zooming.
The controller is in the middle position too much play.
Has anyone noticed this before?

Yes my HDC-TM900 has unfortunately synonymous. (Find this really annoying and I would soon look at a comparison device and possibly "claim" at Panasonic but apparently it is noAusnahme with my cam: (
