Hello,
after I get the heading JVC few (or no) response
have, I now ask my question here in modified form.
I just got in the meantime read this forum a bit.
Am I correct in assuming that a collapse in Mpeg 2
the quality of harm, at least if you cut it afterwards?
And if so how bad?
My cinematic activities are limited, at least on s.Anfang Landschaftliches and animal photographs.
When the landscape is a mountain shots, now then
Then in the fall with the many colors of the trees and in winter
Snow in the touring and recording here and there a few times
Animal photographs in the wild with distances as S.50 meters.
Because of these activities, I would have a compact at about 500g-600g
Camera happy.
Which of the above two cams are more for me
to serve the purpose?
For cutting, I have a Powermac G5 with the iMovie program
I would, however, if it would be necessary synonymous the Final Cut Express
purchase.
Would be happy for a few comments and opinions.

why to skip straight so expensive? In general, sufficient for your project perhaps) a GS 280/300er (for example. It's amazing what you can with these cameras for achieving results. Which "public" will be shown the films?
Basically, Mini-DV is still at an advantage over hard disks and DVD cams, since the latter are working with compressions, which influence the quality. Minidv works with a "low compression" and leaves "better data". Therefore, mini-DV!
But HDV is synonymous slowly a theme, but still expensive.

Your two proposals would probably synonymous fit for me * fg *
I was referring to the Comparison with MiniDV / HDD and the usability
in detail in the snow or rocks / mountains / forests.
Today, times have test ways mitmeiner old JVC 800,000 pixels
filmed and the result was disappointing, all greasy
and reveal no more details.
I may have dazusagen that I photographed some of
'm spoiled, as far as image quality.
So, if anyone else has info on the above examples,
Only, I'm happy for every opinion.
