You could translate it via USB 2.0 to try: Your camera is in conjunction with the included software in principle do so. Perhaps it is so synonymous Firewire easy via PCMCIA retrofit?

Either the 1st exotic USB capture capability that camcorder use (works only with certain software) or ...
2nd a Firewire PCMCIA card to retrofit.
