Frage von Untill:Hi folks,
I want either the Panasonic NV-GS500 and the JVC MG505 buy. Even if it is the Picture s.sich is immaterial, I like the black and very unobtrusive grip JVC haptics of the better, as is the joystick on the display.
Just the very split assessment of MPEG2 video, makes me suspicious. Where can I find an example times of JVC video? Can someone please link a video, it's not nice to his neighbor :-)
How much "worse" than MPEG2 DV tape? The disadvantage of the post is clear to me.

If you want to stay in SD, I recommend the NV-GS 500th
But there may well be that next week the JVC HD Everio presented. The variant would be synonymous.
Generally, DV - video is less compressed, can better edit etc, but mpeg2 video has kräftih up what the editing is concerned.
Overall, the NV-GS 500 a bit better (quite apart from the recording format)

I have purchased the JVC 505 and am very impressed by the handling. The videos without coils can always be absolutely awesome. The copy currently on the same PC, in real-time copy nix or so. Unfortunately, I am of the picture quality very disappointed. Even in Ultrafine mode you can see clearly s.Kanten stairs, image noise is clearly present, image sharpness is synonymous improvement. The focus is working constantly and zooms out and her as if he was tried, resulting in 3-4 seconds rhythm of the images sharp / blurred be ..
Hence my question. Is this system due to the MPEG2 and DV tapes or camcorder can simply no longer? My old Hi8 of Sonyhat these edges do not, so I just hope to the codec as a reason. Would upcoming MPEG4 and significantly better in DV quality?

Hi folks,
I have bought the MG505 and am disappointed of the picture quality. The focus is constantly working and zooms in 3-4 seconds before and rhythm back. So that the picture is of course very restless. Is this normal s.einer 505?
Has anyone a link with a video to judge?

After my experience with the GS 500, the pump already a rarity, you must have the camera to the test (equal to little contrast in the Picture, low light, alternating red and blue lighting) so it is synonymous to the pump starts when there is no risk should be - Manual Focus synonymous with MG 505th
Yes, the DV system is of high quality, MPEG 2 or 4, the level is not as fast to reach, at least for a "detailed" look, no preference which codec.
But I have to admit that with the JVC MG 505 (And I'm not guaranteed JVC friend) has a good camera on the market, manual Tonaussteuerung Station and a stronger battery than the small 707er would have been laudable.
By 505er I've never really filmed, can therefore say nothing major.
